Happy January!
A few things to note:
-School is closed on January 20-22 for MLK Jr. Day and two teacher workdays.
-January is full of middle-of-the-year testing. Students will be tested in mClass reading skills and iReady Math skills. Please make sure you student is at school on time during the month of January to make sure they don't miss these important tests, unless they are sick.

RCSS School Nutrition Services prepares approximately 6,500 breakfast and 10,000 lunch meals for students each school day. The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback about our breakfast and lunch menus from parents, teachers, and staff. We will use this feedback to update our menus in order to enhance the school meal experience for our students. The early release day on Friday, December 20 will mark the beginning of our Winter break. Students will return to school on January 2.

Tabernacle Elementary has a clothing closet that helps students when they mess up their clothes or shoes.
-Our clothing closet is starting to look a little bare and we need our community and families help! During the month of December we will be having a clothing drive. All items are welcome, but we are in need of new or gently used:
-leggings
-athletic pants
-sweatpants
-shoes
-We are accepting ALL sizes but we are in need of the following sizes: Youth S, Youth XL, Adult S and Adult M. Shoe sizes kids 12/13 and kids 2-6. If you have any questions please call the school! Thank you!
